As you can imagine there are hundreds of different brands and sizes of padlocks sold world-wide but not all can be customised.

In 2003 when we were designing the patent pending Steel Shroud the main criteria for the Padlock we required was:

The padlocks Shackle must be capable of being customised allowing our Locksmith to completely remove the padlocks Shackle so the whole Padlock fits inside the Steel Shroud.
The internals of the Padlock has to withstand dusty and damp conditions and not rust when using near sea water.
Must be capable of being keyed alike and if possible be mastered keyed.
